Please help me remember...

I am trying to remember a Maya ethnographic reference associating excessive tobacco use and sexually aggressive behavior, comparing humans with jaguars

I thought there was one for the Maya area but maybe the one I'm remembering comes from Reichel-Dolmatoff with the Tukano of Colombia?
