Dear Mr. Hall,
The image that appeared in the Nova presentation, "Cracking the Maya Code"
is a detail from the vase K5615. It has been published a number of times
including Dorie Reents-Budet's "Painting the Maya Universe: Royal Ceramics
of the Classic Period" p.277.
You can also find it online at www.mayavase.com. Click on the Maya Vase
database banner and enter 5615 in the search bar. You could also find it by
entering the string maize and tree.

Subject: [Aztlan] Hun-Hunahpu's painted image

Listeros,
During the Nova presentation of Breaking the Maya Code there was a
brief image of a vase painted with the image of Hun-Hunahpu's head in the
calabash tree, an image in which Hun-Hunahpu had an especially long and
pointed nose, if I saw it correctly. I would be very greatful if someone can
direct me to the same image in a printed source. Bob Hall.
