[Aztlan] Salt and Nuevo Cerros

Hi All,
         As Nuevo Cerros(sp) was a major salt mine according to what I have read. I am trying to find out the Mayan word for Salt. So that in my novel I can refer to the city by that name. Also where can I find out more  info about  Nuevo  Cerros(sp).
