Sam, Mike and fellow Listeros,

I'm glad we are revisiting this topic.  There are many newly subscribed scholars on this list that might not know this is a regular topic on Aztlan.  Most recently, we discussed lime processing (aka "the slow burn") and geochemical properties.

Recent publications, including the dissertation by fellow listero Bradley Russell and his co-authored journal article on an experimental lime burn at Mayapan, were very informative.

I heartily encourage more discussion on this topic.  But for those who would like to see what has already been posted, please visit:
