[Aztlan] MORE INFO ON THE WARI MUMMIES

More information on the 3 Wari mummies found in Lima has been posted.  
The pyramid where the mummies were found is the Huaca Pucllana in the  
Miraflores section of Lima. An ornate funeral mask was attached to a  
noble woman. The other two mummies were of a child and a woman.  
Offerings and textiles associated with female weavers were found in  
the tomb with the mummies. The remains of children offered as  
sacrifices to accompany the dead were also found. The mummy with the  
mask is now known as "The Lady of the Mask."
