I would like to welcome Dr. Lennox to the list and I, for one, would
be very interested if he were to share his findings with the list.
As a useful reference for Dr. Lennox, in 1995 Carlos Brockman won the
Premio Palenque for his work "Armamento y tácticas. Evidencia lítica y
escultóricas de las zonas Usumacinta y Pasión", in which he dealt
specifically with weaponry and the way it could have been used. I
don't know if the paper is available online (perhaps the Arqueología
Mexicana website should be tried), but there is a brief summary
(posted by Sylviane Boucher) at the following link:
http://www.geocities.com/aoep_insignia/agosto_arqueo.html
and an article was published in Arqueología Mexicana No. 17. January-
February, 1996. Pp.54-58.
Hope the above is useful,
Jorge Perez de Lara
