Listeros,

It has been announced that a team of archaeologists have discovered a
fortified citadel in Amazonian northeast Peru from the pre-Inca era.
The site covers 12 acres sitting atop a chasm that may have been a
lookout point. There are rock paintings on some of the fortifications
and large platforms for grinding seeds and wild plants for medicine
and food.
The site is likely a Chachapoyas civilization outpost.

I am sure we will hear more about this in coming days and hopefully
some photos.
