More references regarding Calakmul are now accessible from the page
www.TraditionalHighCultures.com/Calakmul.html

There is now a link to a chart of chronology and a few text transcriptions
for sites in SE Campeche,
featured in the Grube chapter of the BAR volume by $prajc
referred to on the associated page .../Calakmul_references.html.

( Ivan $prajc 2008 Reconocimiento arqueológico en el surested del estado de
Campeche, México, 1996-2005
Chapter 8 pp.177-232 is by Nikolai Grube:
"Monumentos esculpidos: epigrafía y iconografía". It includes a list p.231
of all calendric dates in the monuments of this area.
BAR International Series 1742.)

A similar link leads to a page with transcriptions for Calakmul stelas
114 and 89 and for an unprovenanced panel from the El Cayo region which
has been known for many years, which refers to an agent of Calakmul's
ruler Yuknoom Ch'e'n the Great during the last year of that ruler's life.

The "references" page now includes a new book October 2008
by Kai Delvendahl, 197pp., which comprehensively surveys what
is now known on Calakmul, its Maya history, the history of its
recent re-discovery, an overview of the site, detailed guide to visiting
the site as a whole and particular parts of the site, and a large
bibliography.

And there is a link to a Google search which nets over 17,000 pictures,
at least many of them of the site of Calakmul.

Best wishes,
Lloyd
