[Aztlan] Ancient Maya names

"Hunab Ku" seems likely to be an entity fabricated by Spanish missionaries to aid with conversion to Christianity.  As such, the attributes of this entity would be identical to those of the Christian supreme being (God) as conceptualized in 16th century Spain.  However, the actual manifestation of Hunab Ku in Yucatec cosmology is pure synchretism.

There is a Wikipedia entry on this being that could certainly use some expansion (similar to what I did with "Votan"), especially because "Hunab Ku" is being promoted in New Age circles in a fashion that's laden with 2012 mythology.  A symbol that José Arguelles has identified as "Hunab Ku" is being identified as a "Maya" version of something akin to a yin/yang symbol that also resembles the shape of the Milky Way spiral galaxy.
