The following is a forwarded message from Hasso
Hohmann:
I just got a series of copies from a friend concerning
your Aztlan-discussion about Classic Maya units of
length in November/December 2007. It might be of
interest and therefore I would like to add that I
discussed this theme in my and Annegrete Vogrin's two
volumes "Die Architektur von Copan", Graz, 1982, pages
71-73. Unfortunately it is written in German. I used
for the research only the measures of free stairways,
as their breadths are not determinated from outside. I
think interested Mayanists should read it!
With my best wishes,
Hasso Hohmann.
