I have another definition for Tikal. 

It is not very different from the other ones. In Mayan
serious Quiché:

The name " Tikal " means " Place of Voices " or "
Place of Languages " in the Mayan language.

O nome " Tikal " quer dizer " Lugar de Vozes " ou "
Lugar de Línguas " na língua maia.
