[Aztlan] Crossing at Yaxchilan

Hi Dave!
I don't know if I just got up too early to understand
this question, but I was at Yaxchilan about a week
ago. I didn't really understand if you wanted to
cross from one side of the river to the other, or to
go somewhere else. At any rate, unless you are
insisting on crossing on foot, there are plenty of
neat little outboard long-ish boats that can take you
across. I can look in my notes and tell you the name
of the starting point on the Mexican side where we
bought the tickets to get on them, if you'd like.
Another thing we did was send the passports and
luggage for everybody in the boats from that first
starting point across the Guatemala border, then after
the group visited Yaxchilan the boats took us right to
the Guat. side.
By the way, the boats seat 10 people each. I probably
turned in my cost sheet, but it seemed minimal and
worth it!
