Cliff and Marcos,

The Gregorian calendar was inaugurated in 1582. Any
back-calculation with it over 4.6 thousand years or
so, using the 83-GMT correlation, surely means that
the 1.5 - 2 days error should be added to the
13-baktun start-date, doesn't it? In other words, in
actual tropic years, with 83-GMT, the start-date would
be 9th August 3114 BC (using the astronomical protocol
of an extra year to compensate for no "year zero"),
and still ends on 21st December 2012.
