[Aztlan] A Maya carved bone

Hello listeros,

 

I write in the hopes of finding some osteological assistance.  I'm curious
if anyone could provide a likely source of a carved bone implement.  I
suspect it's jaguar bone, but that's really just a guess.  Here are the
dimensions:

 

h. 19.0 cm., w. 1.1 cm., d. 2.4 cm. (7 1/2 x 7/16 x 15/16 in.)
