Hi listeros,
The "Museo del Pueblo Maya" at Dzibilchaltun was partially destroyed in 2002
by Hurricane Isidore. Despite that, none of the sculptures were damaged. The
reconstruction took 3 years and now it has anti-hurricane devices. The
museological text of the archaeological section was improved and the
collection enriched, with respect of the museographical style, but giving a
broad view of the history an development of northern maya society from it's
beginings to the present. I encourage you to visit it if you come to Merida.
Saludos
Miguel
