Despite frequent claims of scholarly "suppression" of certain kinds of
data and hypotheses, I think most of my colleagues would agree that
there is no conspiracy to "prevent further investigation of evidence"
for anything relevant to understanding the ancient Maya.  If you can
recruit scholars, either professional or amateur, to this line of
investigation, more power to you.

I think a poll of who's "willing to end the investigation" would be as
pointless as a similar poll on phoneticism in Maya hieroglyphic writing
would have been when that was a topic of debate.

As far as I'm concerned, the more investigation the better.  However, in
order to play fair, you have to be willing to entertain the possibility
of being mistaken.
