There must be something by Richard Hansen.............he certainly has been working there long enough!

One thing I know he does is to take people to the site by helicopter and has them stay at his camp.  I know this because a friend of mine (who happens to love to travel the world but has nothing professional to do with archaeology at all) recently spent a week with him and other folks there.

He has been working hard with the Guatemalan government, and they seem to be very anxious to make the site more easily visitable by tourists.

Sorry I can't tell you anymore about this, because although he has had plenty to say about me in the past, I don't personally know him.
