Listeros,

One of the palaces of Moctezuma II has been unearthed in downtown
Mexico City-Chief Archaeologist Elsa Hernandez says it is a dark room
where Moctezuma meditated. This was part of a palace complex known as
the New Houses which may have comprised 5 buildings with his office,
chambers for his children and wives and a zoo.

More excavations will now take place beneath colonial buildings
adjacent to the discovery. The room excavated may be the dark house
where Moctezuma meditated on shamanistic visions.
