Mike Ruggieri's summary of the Andina article on 5000 year old figures from
Caral contained some discrepancies from the original short article that
require clarification:

Just to clarify, the figurines and their context have yet to be dated. The
Andina article ends suggesting that C14 dating will determine how old they
are. We should be careful about reporting them as "dated" artifacts. Also,
the site, known previously as La Perla, was renamed Vichama, which is the
name of a local deity from Vegueta. As far as I know, it does not mean
"hidden city". The manner in which the name is written is misleading because
it suggests this is an English translation of the word Vichama. Vichama,
located in the Huaura Valley, is also quite a ways from Caral in the Supe
Valley; it is not part of the site of Caral. The Andina article correctly
indicates this. Vichama is likely a contemporary site - one of the more than
30 mound complexes found in this region with dates around 3000 B.C.
