This is to announce several developments regarding our 2-hour feature
film, BREAKING THE MAYA CODE.

1) The BREAKING THE MAYA CODE web site has just gone on-line at
www.nightfirefilms.org. It features an illustrated narrative of the
production's history, animations illustrating the workings of the
Maya script, and an archive containing almost a thousand pages of
interview transcripts covering a wide variety of topics in Maya studies.

2) Thanks to Michel Quenon and the Friends of Ethnic Art, a free
screening of BREAKING THE MAYA CODE will take place at the Koret
Auditorium of the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park
on June 27 at 6PM, followed by a Q&A with director David Lebrun and
cinematographer Amy Halpern. Please pass the word to your Bay Area
friends.

3) BREAKING THE MAYA CODE and our earlier film PROTEUS will be
released on home DVD in September by First Run Features. PROTEUS is
already available on our web site, and we expect to have advance
copies of BREAKING THE MAYA CODE before the release date. To be
notified of DVD releases, screenings and other developments, go to
"contact us" on the web site and put your email on our list.

Thanks,

David Lebrun
