Dear Mister Cliff,
At first sight, your message is a staggering and browbeating plea of
different sort of numbers, between which I don't quiet understand the
importance of their connection.
The absolute position of the CR is on 12.18.19.13.17, 1 Kaban 0 Pop, or k'in
157, or Gregorian September 02 3134BC. That is 7283 days prior tot
13.0.0.0.0, 4 Ahau 8 Kumk'u.
There are indeed 2 CR-dates of 1 Kaban 0 Pop that coincides with a 819day
Station:
1. 3.12.15.17.17, 1 Kaban 0 Pop, exactly 643 Stations after the
beginning of it;
2. 11.18.17.8.17, 1 Kaban 0 Pop, exactly 2103 Stations after the
beginning.
Like you said, by this 2 Stations, the Great Cycle is splitting in 3 unequal
parts.
So I don't quiet understand the importance of a synchronization or a
connection with the 819day Count.
The Base Date that Thompson used was, 12.19.19.17.17, 1 Kaban 5 Kumk'u.
Give me a good reason why the proximity to the Great Cycle's start would be
a "good choice" for a 819day Zero Station.
Second, I have said that a cycle from 1 Ahaw to 1 Ahaw, in reverse order,
counts (not stops) 16380 days.
Why is 1 Kaban, Station 3 and not a Zero Station, because there are 3
stations before, Station 2 (1Etznab 11 Ch'en), Station 1 (1Kawak 7 Ch'en)
and Station 0 (1Ahaw 18 Kumk'u).
A good reason for choosing 1 Ahaw as a Zero Station in the 819day Count, is
that after 20 Stations a new cycle began with 1 Ahaw again. The second Zero
Station will be than 0.1.18.12.0, Yellow South, 1 Ahaw 13 Wo.
Some scholars think that the God Kawill must play a major roll in the 819day
Count.
But let me remind you that every Station of the 819day Count is ruled by God
6 of the 9 Lords of the Night.
According to Yvan Van Lanningham, only a few of these Lords are propably
known by name.
God 4, should be Wuk Ah, God 7, the patron God of the month Pax and God 9,
should almost certainly be a Pauahtun, whatever that may be.
About the name and the glyphe of God 6 there is a little bit difference of
opinion among some scholars. Sometimes he is pictured with the Na and a
Personal Glyph.
According to Heike Owusu, a German writer of the book "Symbole der Inka,
Maya und Azteke", Schirner Verlag, Darmstadt 2000, the name of God 6 is:
"The Wind God of the Depth". She got her information from a number of German
Maya writers, like Charles Berlitz, Armin Bollinger, Maximilian Bruggmann,
Walter Krickelberg, Christian Ratsch, Moloslav Stingl, Heinrich Wallnofer
und Wilhelm Ziehr.
She describes every Lord very detailed and very specific. Her specifications
are, in my opinion, very reliable and bears no New-Age-ressemblances.
So it would be very likely that God 6, the Wind God of the Depth, or is one
of the 400 different Wind Gods, or may be in direct contact with
Quetzalcoatl, the major Wind God.
