I've been curious about this, too, since it has also been manifest in Bolivia with the transition from "Tiahuanaco" to "Tiwanaku".
 
With "Yucatán" transcribed as"Yukatan", can Ketzalkwatl be far behind?  (Or am I already out-of-the loop on this one???)
