[Aztlan] Taking Liberties with Mexican Spellings??

Dear Mr. Hoopes,
[Ketzalkwatl] would not be a feaseble spelling for the traditional spelling of "quetzalcoatl" because the last word, "coatl" is not [kwatl], however, I do see the trend among indigenous linguists, myself included that could spell "quetzalcoatl" as [ketzalkoatl]. Just my 2 cents.
