Listeros,

As a follow up to the story this afternoon of an Incan temple complex
discovered near Macchu Picchu, it has also been announced that an
additional part of the Inca Trail has been uncovered with it. Here is
the story from Living in Peru.

It was announced Wednesday that Peru's National Institute for Culture
(INC) had found the ruins of a sacred Inca temple at Sacsayhuaman
archaeological park in Cusco. To this finding, the INC has added an
elaborate Inca trail just 50 meters from the temple. The path was
buried under 1 meter of dirt and is a direct path from Qenco to
Sacsayhuaman fortress. It is believed that this is one of many trails
that connect the temples, huacas and fortresses in the region.
