[Aztlan] Solped Foreheads

Listeros:           While browsing threw a book of North Americans Indian Tribes I noticed a painting of a Pacific Northwest Cowlitz Warrior with a child in a basket with a piece of wood tied to his head so that the forehead would be sloped as his was. I have seen the same appearance in Mayan drawings and read stories about them. Was this practice common in the Americas?                Mario F. Malo
