[Aztlan] Macuilxochitl earrings

     Does anyone know of any occurrence of pendants in the form of the earrings of inverted teardrop form worn by Macuilxochitl as represented on the teponaztle drum in Magliabecchiano 23? By inverted teardrop form I mean point-down. I know of a find of three pendants of this shape in shell with performations indicating that they were worn point down. There occurrence as a set of three suggests that the shell objects in question were not worn as earrings. Bob Hall
