I'm sure you know of this:
http://lal.tulane.edu/collections/image_archive/major_collections/index.htm
Gropp, Arthur E., photographer (1902- ) Collection
1937-1938. Photographic survey of libraries and archives in
Central America and the Caribbean. Included are churches and
archaeological sites, and two photographs of Dr. Hermann Beyer. Three
examples of the collection are Public Library, Port of Spain,
Trinidad, Nassau Public Library, Bahamas, and Schoelcher Public
Library, Martinique. 1054 pieces. In 1994 this collection was merged
with manuscripts collection #121, Gropp Arthur E., Papers and
Photographs. [Formerly this was photograph collection 10.]
And I would also suggest that you contact Museo Na Bolom in San
Cristobal de las Casas, Mexico. This was the home of Frans Blom, and
one of the places that Tulane investigators would stay when working in
the region. I have seen photos of their teams on the walls of the
house. I will be there in a few days and will see what I can find out,
and get a contact for you.
Best
Dave
