[Aztlan] Possible resources on area of Veracruz in mountains

 I am a lurker though I've written before.  I live about eleven miles south
   of Xalapa between Coatepec and Xico.  I would very much like to know if
   there are any resources available which would shed light on who lived in
   this region, migrations, etc. etc.  We are told, for instance, that the
main   n
   church in Xico was built on a pyramid; that there are pyramids above Xico
   Viejo, that there are some remains in Coatepec.  We know people from this
   area who speak Nahuatl.  Some people say they are Totonaca but this seems
a
   bit off the beaten track for that.
   Any help would be much appreciated.
