[Aztlan] Vase K594 and the Origin of the Marimba

There are a series of vessels with similar scenes to K594. Elin Danien 
published an article on these vessels many years ago. Two that are 
directly pertinent to the discussion are K5534 and K7613. In all three 
of these scenes, the person in question is carrying a jaguar cushion. 
These cushions show up in numerous throne scenes as well. The other guys 
in the procession are carrying rattles and trumpets.
By the way, if anyone is interested in seeing Lynn Grant's magnificent 
restoration of K594, they should check out Elin Danien's Chama exhibit 
that opens next April at the University Museum.
