Sorrowfully, I am passing this message along to Aztlan.
A retired aerospace engineer, Janis was a long-time Maya Meetings
participant and a founding member of the Workshop (first held in 1983 and
then called the "Long Workshop"). He has contributed much to our meetings
and knowledge. He will be greatly missed.

I, Andra Indrikis-Graham, am writing this email to all of my father's
contacts in his email list. If any of you get this letter inappropriately,
please accept my apologies, because there was no specific list prepared. 
Janis passed away Thursday, October 23rd (2008).  He was in Latvia and his
liver failed. He is survived by his grandson and myself, his daughter. 
There will be a funeral in Riga this coming week with the date still yet to
be set. There will also be a ceremony here in California at a later date. I
know he would have liked all his friends to get together and raise a glass
of wine in his memory. I will send out an announcement as soon as a date can
be set. 
I am trying to gather all my father's contacts. In order to add your name to
