"A Swiss postgraduate student who was shot Tuesday night during a robbery at her brother’s home in East Nashville has died, Metro police said.
"Marie Colas, 27, died Sunday morning at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
"She had been shot in the head during the robbery in which her brother, respected Vanderbilt University anthropology professor Pierre Colas, 32, was shot and killed in his home on McFerrin Avenue.

"The four people who were charged Friday with Pierre Colas’ slaying had initially also been charged with attempted murder in connection with Marie Colas’ shooting. That charge will be amended to reflect Marie Colas’ death, Metro police said in a statement."


This is terrible, terrible news.  Our thoughts are with the Colas family.
