Aztec Poetry and Songs
In his Aztec Handbook, stored in the "Biblioteca del Palacio" in Madrid,
Sahagun has collected 20 Songs of different Gods, in "Capitulo 15".
"De los cantares que desia a horra de los dioses en los templos y fuera
dellos".
The Songs are in the original Aztec language and translated in Spanish.
There are all Songs collected by Sahagun when he stayed in the region of
Tepeopulco, of the province of Colhuacan or Tezcuco.
It begins with the Song of Uitzilopochtli, the Warior.
