I thought that there would be some reply but seeing none I must
ask/comment. I find it strange that Gmail has the right side of this window
plastered with ads for:

   1. What is your birthdate? Birthdate is not an accident,
   understand with Numerology, Free.
   2. Your Free Numerology.. Numerology expert answers your
   questions and reveals your luck.

How does Gmail read my mind?

91 days each"

I am not familiar with the Olmec calendar based on 364 days. (I suspect that
you are not referring to a 'computing year') I have some questions:

· Would you describe it?

· What was it used to measure?

· What is its name?

· Is in Haab-like (ie. Months)? If yes how many and how many days in
each?

· Is it used in/with Long Counts?

· Is the 4 seasons (of 91) an Olmec characteristic (i.e. they named
them) or just an indication that 4 is a factor of 364.?

You also mentioned that:

"….the numbers of 7, 13 and 9 were definitely the numbers of the 819day
Count."

I, as a mathematician of sorts, have a problem with such statements.

Just because, 7 x 9 x 13 = 819 What makes them "definitely the numbers of
the 819day Count." Do you only elect to place value on particular factors
and not others? What is the basis? And why not ANY of the following.

1 x 819 = 819

3 x 273 = 819

7 x 117 = 819

9 x 91 = 819

13 x 63 = 819

21 x 39 = 819

Why one preference over another? I know a numerologist who favors 3 x 273. He
said that this is 'good' because the 273 is born from the 260 added to the
trecena!

You also mentioned:

"The Olmec used a k'atun of 7182 days, a short k'atun, instead of a k'atun
of 7200 days."

This is a bit confusing to me also:

· Where exactly did they use it?

· Does that mean that their Baktun would also be 'short' (i.e. 20 x
7182 =143,640 instead of 144,000?)?

· And since 360 is not a factor of 7182 would mean that the maximum
3 digit Long Count would be 7181. How would they have written that number
in Tuns, Uinals and Kins? Some how 19.17.19 would no longer be valid
because that is 7199 and bigger than your/their' short Katun'

I am confused! Help me!
