At 4:45pm on Friday, May 1, Anthony Aveni will be discussing his recent
research on the time intervals recorded in Mayan hieroglyphic codices.?
We will be meeting in the Arts & Sciences building, Room 243 (the
Linguistics Lab), at the University at Albany (1400 Washington Avenue,
Albany NY 12222).? 


Note:? This is *not* our regular venue, which is reserved for another event.

Parking
unfortunately is at a premium.? Your best bet is to park at the pay lot
at the end of Collins Circle, which will be $3-$5.? The building
adjacent to the lot is Arts & Sciences; the meeting room is on the
second floor.
