Dear listeros,

The <Manuscrito de 1548> containing Maya glyphs is a fake. 
Paleographically, glyphs are historically impossible, showing graphic 
designs that were in use by Classic times, not the expected mid 16th 
century ones; even worse, most of the designs correspond actually to 
epigraphers' line drawings of carved inscriptions instead of being 
examples of painted glyphs, and have been probably taken for general 
old published works on Maya writing, like Thompson 'Maya Hieroglyphic 
Writing: An Introduction' (exactly the same mistakes that are present 
in other previous fakes). Moreover, the images of those supernaturals 
on page 2, are crude copies of images belonging to the Madrid Codex.
