Thanks much.  More information about the system can also be obtained by Googling servir.  The imaging system uses a supercomputer to create the final products and datasets.  It is not clear as to how available this technology is beyond UAH.  A while ago I also included a link to Gigapan software and hardware from Carnegie Mellon.  This megapixel technology would be especially useful for recreations of the large Mayan murals or historical stairs at Palenque.
