Listeros,

The tomb of Pakal at Palenque has been closed to the public since
2004. But now, you can take a virtual tour of Palenque and Yaxchilan.
Erik Boot has posted the news on his web page here with the info
below. I have not been able to get into the tomb view yet but maybe
you can.

INAH Reopens K'ihnich Janaab Pakal's Tomb On The Internet
To protect the tomb of K'inich Janaab Pakal in Palenque, Chiapas,
Mexico, the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia closed the
tomb to public access in 2004. Visits to the tomb remained possible
through the replica in the Museo Nacional de Antropologia in Mexico
City and, since a couple of years, through the replica en the Museo
del Sitio de Palenque. From today, a visit of Pakal's tomb is possible
again, but now in a virtual way on the internet, as is reported today,
Saurday August 1, 2009, in the online edition of the daily Mexican
newspaper El Universal (edited by MNU):
The virtual tour of the tomb (click on Mapa recorrido de Palenque,
followed by a click on the line 3 Templo de las Inscripciones) is
actually very nicely done and at the end has two 360 degree panorama
shots from the inside of the tomb. And these are views that were not
available before, because as a visitor to the site prior to 2004 the
thing between the visitor and the tomb was a fence.
