One more brief observation: This "axis" is also the one that would intersect the peak of Mt. Tlaloc to the south and, of course, Cerro Gordo. It seems to me that astronomical observations from these two volcano peaks may have been one way to get the alignment. Those could then have been carried to Panuco. John Hoopes
