While we are on the topic of Mesoamerican food, I thought I would
share a really cool webpage with you that was put together by
Professor Brian Stross (University of Texas) for his class on "Food
for Discourse and Thought: The Anthrolopology of Food and
Communication"

It starts out with a course description, but further down, you will
see many links throughout the page that will lead you to writings
about food and attitudes about food, not just Mesoamerican, but many
other cultural regions too.
