Many of you have taken a great interest in the progress of Hospitalito
Atitlán following the disaster of tropical storm ‘Stan’. There is now
a new organization handling the funding for this ambitious project and
they have a new website which documents the quite extraordinary
progress of the construction from the designs of our friend David
Schele.

In addition the Guatemalan media has prominently carried the story of
the award of this years top grant from La Fundación Juan Bautista
Gutiérrez – the founder of the famous 'Pollo Campero' - to this
project.
