[Aztlan] Help needed.. Expert for Architecture of Tikal Temples Questions

Hello, all,

A personal experience to share, but sorry, am not an expert.

Back in the late 70s, some friends of mine bought some land behind Sokkutz,
Belize, across from Xunantunich. They were wanting to open a yoga retreat.

We used to go to Tikal every couple of months, just a couple of hours away,
back when the highway was called the "bandito" highway.

We were at Tikal one day, but separated at the time. I climbed Temple 1 and
was up there doing my own little ceremony by myself, burning copal, inside a
square of candles. I "Om"ed for a little while, at normal voice level, while
sitting in the back of the back room, facing outwards looking out the
doorways, back in there, but with my back not touching the back wall.

Later when I hooked up with my friends, they asked me if I had climbed up
Temple 1. They asked if I had "Om"ed.

They said they could hear it all over the whole plaza. You all can take it
from there. Too bad you can't climb up there anymore.
