For those interested, I have a photo of an INAH display of these Teotihuacan Feathered Serpent Pyramid burials online at:

And I was equally struck as Justin was that these human offerings required more jaw bones than they had available, thus some effigy jaw bones were created to hang around the necks of these individuals.
