Hello,
I just wanted to report some results and have new questions
Thanks for all that gave some input..
I came along the Burials 5 and 6 in the back of the internal room of
Tikals Temple 1
I would like to know how professionals interpretate thesse burials.
Do other Temples have burials at similar places?
Wher can i find info regarding this detail?
Anybody any ideas, links or book tips?
And regarding my own quetsion in the last mail:

This picture still remains mysterios.. asuming that this shows the
side of the temple 1 I wonder what we actually see in the left corner..

the lintels are replacements but the originals was similar but carved
The temple wasnt put into pieces ..the doorway had collapesed because
of lintel removing in earlier times.
Actually this damage is allready shown in fotos of Teobert Maler from
1895
We actually look from the inside out of the door of temple 2. behind
the tree is temple 1.

Precise in the areas of focus.. And reconstruction and excravation
seem to have happened parallel,
what was probably not an easy situation.
Havent find any infos regarding the roof of temple 1 or 2 yet.
A photo would be nice or detailed drawings.
I would be surprised if none would have done... but maybe they didnt
find theire way into the reports because of little relevance?
Has anybody any insights how this details are usually handled on such
a large scale excravation and reconstruction?
Thanks
and best regards,
Sven
