MIDWEST MESOAMERICANISTS ANNUAL MEETING
This year the annual meeting of the Midwest Mesoamericanists will be  
held at the University of Illinois, Chicago on Saturday March 14, 2009.

"This informal meeting is an excellent opportunity to learn about  
recent research by academics and advanced students in Mesoamerican  
prehistory, ethnohistory, and ethnography. . . . We will have a  
speaker and reception at the university on Friday night, presentations  
on the UIC campus on Saturday, and a party Saturday night. We are also  
planning a group visit to the new Aztec exhibit at the Field Museum on  
Sunday. We will provide details on the meeting and lodging information  
in future notices and on the upcoming meeting website on theUIC  
Department of Anthropology home page."
