Listeros,
Spanish Archaeologists have uncovered what they claim to be the oldest
man ever found in Paraguay dating back to 3000 BCE. The remains were
found in a hill along with cave art in the "footstep" style which
spreads across Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Bolivia. This is the first
of that style found in Paraguay. Details of the find will be presented
at the International Congress on Cave Art in July.
