Greetings all,

I'm starting a new endeavor called "Maya FIeld Workshops" -- intensive
on-site seminars/workshops focusing on the art, archaeology and
epigraphy of important Maya sites. These are open to anyone who wants
an intensive and exciting week of learning Maya glyphs and iconography
in their full archaeological context and original setting. No previous
experience or expertise in Maya studies is at all necessary.

Our inaugural session will be devoted to Palenque, Mexico, and will be
held there from March 15-21, 2009. Space is limited!

Anyone seeking more information about the event, fees involved, etc.,
should check out our website www.mayafieldworkshops.com. And if you
wish to contact us with questions, please reply directly to our
dedicated email address, mayafieldworkshops at gmail.com (that is, please
don't email me personally -- it will get buried). My extremely capable
and organized sister, Ann Stuart, oversees the logistics, thank
goodness!

Sincerely,

David Stuart
