8000 holes and 12000 lamps! It's a massacre ! The picture of the Sun Pyramid
talks by itself ! I don't know the INAH director and the National Council of
Archaeology could have authorized that !
I mean: Kim Goldsmith told us that we should not take care about the
"amarillista" press but, hell ! (sorry Kim, I really like your work at Teo
and I really respect what you're trying to do for Teo's community). But
who's gonna really care of these show? Entrance fees will be would be higher
like at Chichen Itza or Uxmal. But people who stay at night to watch are
very few... If I want to visit Chichen or Teotihuacan, I don't want to pay
for something I don't want to see. There must be another solution to keep
visitors in Teo's surroundings.
And the quality of the show in Chichen is horrible : lack of informations
and a lot of imagination... I remember two important archaeologists of the
Chichen project in 2004. I asked them what they thought about it. They
answered me rising their eyes to the sky or deep-breathing. I almost it
should the same stuff at Teo. Sorry if I hurt people here but economical
issues shouldn't be more important that keeping safe a treasure for the
mankind... They should find a sustainable way to deal with that.
