Fitz's reply regarding museums adjacent to sites.  The museum at Lamanai is certainly a favorite of mine.  The artifacts are numerous and placed in such a way that they are easily visible.  The guards are were glad to show pieces for photographing.  Favorites were: large eccentrics (some almost 12 inches long), a variety of point types and some interesting pottery, including an incensario.
