Domingo Martínez certainly thought so, but I don't agree.
 
One of the chapters of his book is on the subject of Hunab Ku and Pythagoras, but (unlike him) I don't see much evidence for Pythagorean-style geometry in Maya architecture or artwork.  Were the compass and straightedge used much in in Maya engineering?  How about pi and the Golden Mean?  (Most of the claims for these that I've seen come from literature that tends towards pseudoscientific interpretations.)

Does the "square (representing measurement) within a compassed circle (representing movement)" appear at all in Maya texts or art?
