The word I know is "ayetail" - literally, with-comer. (ahYET-tie-eel)
Some have found their own kind of joy in proposing that Yucatec has no word
for "friend." Not so.

Yes, it is real - in Yucatec Maya it means something like "You're my friend
(or companion)". It is an expression of deep affection, and if someone on
